The free safety app offers instant access to emergency dispatchers and responders, accurately pinpointing and sharing your location when help is needed. Your device’s GPS is only activated when you initiate an alert, and location sharing automatically ends once the alert is canceled, ensuring privacy. Additionally, SafeZone delivers timely emergency notifications, providing continuous support across all 世界杯官方app campuses.

Download the SafeZone App
Get started by downloading the free app through Google Play or the Apple Store.
- Enter your 世界杯官方app email and hit “Next.”
- Log in via 世界杯官方app’s SSO.
- On the signup page: verify your information and upload a photo of yourself to assist emergency responders. Press “Sign Up” when done.
- Read and accept the terms and conditions.
- You will be prompted to “Choose Groups” on the next screen. Click “Done” as there are no groups set up at this time.
- Review permissions for the app. Click “ok.” You will then be prompted to grant SafeZone access to your location while the app is in use, find Bluetooth devices to help with location accuracy, and accept push notifications to receive important 世界杯官方app notifications.

How do I download SafeZone?

No. SafeZone only shares your location with the response team when you activate an emergency alert by pressing the “Emergency” button.
How do I raise an alert in SafeZone?

What happens when I select the Crisis Line button?
The “Crisis Line” button connects you to 世界杯官方app's Mental Health Crisis Helpline. Information shared through the helpline is confidential.
Why does the “Non-Emergency” button change to “Help” when I am off campus?
The 世界杯官方appPD provides a "Non-Emergency" option for campus-related inquiries and non-emergency services. When off-campus, this button changes to "Help" and prompts you to call 911 to connect with the appropriate emergency services in your local jurisdiction. If you are off campus and would like to reach 世界杯官方app’s non-emergency line, call 210-458-4242.
What should I do if I accidentally press an alert button?
If you accidentally raise an alert on campus, you have five seconds to cancel it before it is sent to the 世界杯官方appPD. After five seconds, you can still cancel or contact 世界杯官方appPD via call or text to inform them of the mistake. If you accidently raise an alert off campus, your local police department is not engaged until you select the option to “Call 911.”
What should I do if I am having trouble submitting an alert on campus?
If the app is not working and you need to reach 世界杯官方appPD in an emergency, call 210-458-4911 or 911 to reach local police if off campus. For non-emergency assistance on campus, call 210-458-4242.
What should I do if I have technical issues with SafeZone?
If you experience technical issues, select “App Support” in the app to email the SafeZone technical support team.
Do I need to sign up for SafeZone to receive 世界杯官方app emergency alerts?
No, you do not have to sign up to receive 世界杯官方app emergency alerts, as all 世界杯官方app students, faculty and staff are automatically enrolled to receive them. You can update your preferred phone number for receiving emergency alerts via ASAP. Or, if you have the SafeZone app, you can update the mobile phone number in your profile on the app, as your preferred alerts phone number is also found there.
